A Truly Haunted Asylum with REAL Ghosts!
Steeped in nearly 200 years of history, mystery and mayhem, today, Rolling Hills Asylum is reputed to be the most haunted asylum in the USA and has been featured in numerous films and television shows such as Syfy’s Ghost Hunters, Travel Channel’s Ghost Adventures, and Destination America’s Ghost Asylum.
Originally opened in 1827 as The Genesee County Poor House. In 1938 the county added a hospital to the facility - the Genesee County Infirmary, and in 1964 converted the property to the Genesee County Nursing Home, or as the locals lovingly referred to it as “the old county home” until its closing in 1974.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
- 18+with valid photo ID (drivers license, passport, Military ID, Sheriff’s issued ID)
- 14 -17 - MUST be accompanied by a parent AND have valid photo ID (school ID, drivers license, passport, Military ID, Sheriff’s issued ID) NO EXCEPTIONS.
October Event Descriptions
- 3 Hour Psych Hold - $30pp - a guided tour followed by a self-guided ghost hunt
- Historical Tour - $25pp - is just that - strictly a guided tour during the day
- Movie Night - $15pp - horror movie shown in haunted rec room in surround sound - includes snack & soft drink
- Flashlight Tour - $25pp - is just that - strictly a guided tour at night
- Dinner with a Ghost - $75pp - Prime Rib Dinner served in haunted rec room followed by a ghost hunt
